I have 3 baby turtles. 1 Red Ear Slider and 2 Pink Belly's. Right now they do not fight or bother each other at all. I was wondering if they are going to be good to stay together without then fighting as they grow older and mature.

Also I have them in a 20 long right now and in the process of setting up my 125gal for them. Hopefully be done by friday depending if i get some free time. Will a 125gal last them for life or will they need bigger?

Last question..lol If i set up one side of the tank with sand that ramps up higher then the water level will that be ok? Basically the will be a water in the tank and one side will be like a "land area" and the other be a "swim area". Will that be something I could do? The land area be a basking area and swim for will swimming..lol

Thanks in advance
Mike

yes they will be fine together for life so long as there is not too much aggression while feeding them (giving a little extra food will help with that. and the land/ swim area is what is needed for these guys but I think you will have trouble if you use nothing but sand because it will quickly ware away and end up being underwater. You may want to try and use something to keep the sand up above the water level so that it will stay there.

good luck

It is generaly recomended not to mix turts from a diferent geografical region but yours being cb and healty it should be of absolutly no trobble at all, both species are generally peacefull and both are very agile so it is unlikely someone will be left behind at meals time.

Thanks I will take all the advice I can get! Having turtles are new to me. One thing for sure is these guys love to eat! They never get aggressive in any form during feeding. They just each go all out for what ever is in front of them. Thanks a bunch!
