Turtle Tank to Fish

I just picked up a 100gal tank for free on Craigslist. (Ya me) Problem is it was used as a turtle tank and has a siliconed ramp. Can I just clean it out make sure silicone is good and it will be fine for Fishes? Tank Dimension
48" x 23" x 23"

I like the dimensions because i can build a stand that a 55 gal (also free on craigslist) will fit underneath for the sump.

you must know the CL gods or something. Yeah, just take a razorblade and remove the old silicone, then you should be good.

+1 on this. I saw a guy yesterday selling an EMPTY 75 gallon with stand for $1100 bucks!!!! WTF!!!

Thanks... I have been very Luck with Craigslist. I am in Boston and so far I have gotten 2 tanks 100 and the other is a 125 Free and the one 55 and 36 and 2 - 20's

The 125 looks huge and I will have problems with the old man to set it up but the 100 looks close to the 55 gal size that it may not be so bad in a old man vision sort of way.

Going to be cleaning this week end
