Hi guys I need some advice please.

Currently I have a 46 gal (4ft) tank with 3 x cories, 1 x rainbow shark, 1 x angel, 1 x plec, 1 x sucking loach, 5 x gouramis.

I am starting to think about water turtles but I don't know anything about them really. I would want to keep most of my fish if I did get one.

Which turtles are small and good for a community tank?
Which fish could I keep / need to get rid of?
What else do I need to consider?

your help appreciated, thanks.

im no expert on turtles but i believe none of them can be kept with fish safely...

Those would be tortoises, they don't live in water. Some turtles, when adult, become more vegetairian but will still prey on your fish.

Yeah...they don't fish, but they are also strictly terrestrial animals, always living on land. They would not fare well in an aquatic environment.

There are turtles out there that eat veggies but it doesn't really make up 100% of their diets. They still need animal matter and in the confines of an aquarium, fish are an easy target to fill that gap.
