Did you try Peter @ Goldfish plus yet?
i just tried to call and its busy so im gonna try again in a little bit. does he have a lot of cool stuff there

Yes he does and is sooooo fully/ overstocked with stuff. You will be on a first name basis with him after about your second purchase. He is a great guy, and the kid Chris that works for him is going to study to be a marine biologist, he just got back from the Galopogas islands so you aknow you will not be dealing with any idiots that just tell you what you want to hear. Tell him Rob in Texas sent you there. He also carrys alot of bearded dragons. if you want some real weird reptiles, check out Prehistoric pets in fountain Valley also.

cool thanks

if you're in the huntington beach area stop by prehistoric pets, they have a big indoor pond w/ pacus, oscars, rt cats, turtles. nothing too fancy but still neat to check out.

The only place ive seen in So Cali as of yet that has anything remotely rare as far as turtles is Amazon Reptile Center in Montclair. Even then its only occasionally. Most of these places are only going to have RES, common Mud/Musk turtles, softshells, or your common african sidenecks. The best place to purchase rare turts is online through dedicated breeders. I personally think Goldfish Plus is a dirty store that doesnt take very good care of their stuff. Just my opinion, though. Check it out...

Gotta agree w/ your opinion on goldfish plus, the only plus about that store is they have lots of supplies, so much that they spill into the aisles, their prices are'nt that great either. they're live stock isnt anything special.

There's a guy named Andrew who sells alot of the rare turtles thru Kingsnake.com
he's somewhere near riverside.
He sells mostly hatchlings, but he has tons of sliders and asian turtles.
