I have got a 150g being upgraded to a 200g soon and it contains nasty little american cichlid would I be able to put a turtle with them
I also have a plec and syno and some polyterus
the cichlid in the tank are all little they are a gt,2 oscars,a conjica(conxsajica my own hybrid) breeding with a nicaraguan, sal, severum,
and i am planning on adding some more cichlids like a black belt, JD etc
Would i be able to put a turtle in and what sort would be ok

no, you fish will get eaten. also it would b hard to develop a basking spot and correct uv lighting, as glass filters it out so the fixture or top couldnt contain glasss. all around no.

Yeah with that stock it sounds risky.

If your wanting to experiment fish + turtle you want to use cheap fish, that you do not mind losing....

Turtles use their hands, claws, mouth etc when eating. They can pull all kinds of fish into their mouth if they want to...hehe
