anyone know wat turtles can live in water predominantly? i know a supplier for most of them.

Do you mean with no basking area? If so, look at Fly River turtles, common snapping turtles, and alligator snapping turtles. These are all big species and need multi-hundred-gallon tanks or ponds. Kinosternids (American mud and musk turtles) are also predominantly aquatic and much smaller. Mine do like to bask occasionally, so i would suggest providing at least a small basking area.

wat about florida softshell turtles, mississippi map turtles, red eared sliders, or southern painted i will buy a floating dock for them which ones are smaller.

Florida softshells are big- again, a multi-hundred-gallon tank is needed. Of the others, sliders and female Mississippi maps are larger (about 10" shell length), southern painteds and male Mississippi maps are smaller (about 6" shell length). A floating dock will work if it is stable enough. These guys need UV as well as heat from their basking lights.

so a screen top and a basking lamp will be ok with my tank? and is it ok with my fish?

can i put two paired baby res in a fifty-five then upgrade later?

2 baby RES will be fine in a 55 for a while, but will eventually need something at least twice that big.

Remember, along with a heat lamp, they will also need some source of UV light to keep them healthy and growing properly
