Thats an interesting feature. Very cool looking! It may fade from black to a color. Only time will tell. What do the parents look like??

Nice man! The parents look awesome! From this picture I see the female has an area near her caudal, dorsal, and anal fin that have a lighter color variant to them. I am thinking this could be part of that darker area you are seeing on your Tuxedo Mask fry. One of the best things about breeding Flowerhorns is that their offspring can develop such amazing and unique traits. Flowerhorn fry have always been one of my favorite fry to raise because of these unique genetic qualities they have. Please keep me updated as you raise this unique Tuxedo Fry.

That's a very neat looking fish. I didn't think the black would stay but it did. Did any other fry come out like this or with odd markings?
