You should head to the fish store and get a sponge filter those things are cheap and make your water alot clearer. I have one for my twenty gallon, and they make your water crystal clear with hardly any maintenance. Just rinse them clean every now and them
all i use in all my tanks are sponge filters. and your going to need atleast a 55 within 4-6 months... i raise only africans ( besides a few livebearers and BN plecos ) and i have seen african mbunas up to 6 inches ( just seen two today, a bumble bee and aurtus ) my biggests are my metriclimas and red empress. but yeah nice tank, need upgrade within 4 to 6 months.
Right now it's mixed. She's got an OB red zebra, fuelleborni, 3 acei, a green terror, a hybrid SA of some kind, and two convicts, along with a pleco and a striped raphael cat.
