Many many years ago back in the 80s when i was maybe 4 or 5, the lfs my parents used to take me to had on their counter a rather unusual tank. If my alcohol corrupted brain remembers rightly it was 2 tall hexagon or octagon tanks joined with 2 hexagon/octagon tubes, one just above the bottom and one just below the surface to allow the fish to swim between the 2 tanks. I'm 99% certain they weren't square tanks and tubes, and i think i remember seeing boxs containing new ones so it wasn't a one off build.

I've done a quick google with no results apart from square ones that all look too chunky to be what i think i remember. Does anyone know what i'm talking about and what they are? Or has time and Captain Morgan confused my memory?

your not totally crazy ive seen them. but what they're called i have no clue. sorry...

Yeah I am pretty sure there are tanks like that.

Have you tried youtube? To see if anyone is showing them off then you can ask the person who posted the video where he got the tank.
