It's been a while huh?
Now, I know this isn't really MONSTER, but I worked pretty hard on it and thought you'd enjoy it.
I had an empty ten gallon and lots of glass from a previous (failed) project.
If you saw my other thread, you'll see that I just set up a 5 gallon shrimp nano tank for Shannon. I liked how it turned out so much, that I decided that I wanted one for myself, but as always, didn't feel like spending any money.
So I came up with the twin cube idea. I had recently bought glass cutting equiptment for Shannon's stained glass hobby. I siliconed the panel in and VOILA, the twin cubes were born. Both sides have the black background that I painted. The lighting is a ten gallon LED hood from Walmart with the 20 gallon LED's fitted to the inside. I'm running two filters rated for 15 gallons each (triple filtered, like a good vodka ) One side has course black blasting sand and the other has white PFS. The left side has river rock with a high quarts content that I had leftover from a VERY old tank. The right has stacked black slate.
Current Stocking:
The right side has 3 albino cories as of right now.
The left has 3 tiger barbs. (taken from the 5 gallon after learning and observing about barbs and shrimp)
Future Stocking:
The left will have a shoal of tiger barbs (8 or 9)
The right will have the cories and IDK what else.
I NEED IDEAS for the right.
