twin filter setup?

so i was thinking of doing a twin filter setup so that i can change the media in one while having the other to keep filtering normally and just alternate changing the media... im pretty new to this but have had 40 gal tanks quite a few years ago and im getting into it again. any setup advice would be greatly appreciated

listing a compete setup for a 50 gal would be greatly appreciated as well
