Two armatus in one tank???

I have come across two armatus and was wondering if they would do OK together with some dithers ..silver dollars??? What do you think and what are your experiences

my armatus is a brute hes killed anything thats in with him. what size r the armatus ur lookin to get and what is their diet? my 2 red tails fought all the time. every day the weaker one would have new wounds once they hit a certain size.

What size of tank? If you were to get 2, you might as well get 3. Predatory fish works better in a group of uneven numbers. Nothing is guaranteed with armatus. Mine killed all of my large dithers.

Ive been keeping my armatus with my scomb with no issues, also have vampire cats and a stingray along with some plecos. Mine could care less about the others as long as hes well feed. I dont really think there is a answer for you more of a ? if you want to try it. JMO

They are a super cool fish to have with eye opening eating habits. Once your Armatus get to 8"-10" you may want to consider separate quarters. Serious aggression starts at 6" or so. They tend to leave non silver fish or any other high bodied tank mates alone.

Mine is around 8 inches now. Not gonna move him unless i see some real aggression. I think these fish are finally at a price were people can try some different things and get some good reliable info.
