Two batches of pups in a week!

Been a good week!

2 PDR pups born on 11 Sept followed by 5 Henlei pups ( 1 stillborn) today!;

Those henleis are amazing. They all look awsome. Any idea on why only one was stillborn?

actually dont look still borned, its perfectly formed and full colour, could be crushed or bullird by other rays in the same pond.

Not sure. It was the biggest of the lot. Maybe as Rochen 28 says could have been attacked by other rays.

U can tell the difference between henlei and pdr pups in these pics. The pdr pups are smaller becos this is the mother's first delivery. The henlei mother is much bigger and this is her fourth delivery!!

Are they pure henlei? Or leo/henlei hybrids? Pups are very good quality either way.

I could be wrong but don't think its pure henleii.. For one tails are way too short and stocky for pure henleii new borns and the patterns are just way too crazy. But they are absoluntely gorgeous and im sure will turn into pure stunners
