Ok here is my situation......See my sig for my main tank.. Now I have a 36G tall with small goldfish in it now(kids won at fair). And a empty 29G. My thoughts are that once my chocolate and GT get over 6" or so that I will be severely overstocked or the GT will kill the BP's Now I could get a crap about the BP's but they are my wifes and I gotta keep them until they die(a nutural death of course). So I was wondering if they would be ok in the 36G if I moved the goldies to a pond outside. Any ideas or thoughts?

I'm trying to eventually have only CA/SA cichlids in my 120, no hybrids, no bala and no SD but my problem is that my wife is attached to the fish and I goota hang on to them until they kick the bucket. lol

PS - the 36G in 3 foot long and a foot deep....

PSS - I should also mention that these two BP's are full grown and quite large, including tail they are pushing 7".

Yeah I'm not a big fan of them either.

I am a big fan of parrots....however I don't think that has anything to do with the question. Your parrots are not full grown, maybe half. They grow insanely slow so you have a good year and a half or so. get a 50 breeder it is very square. They get 13" or so! Good luck hope I helped.
