I was wondering if my two Devils would do good in a 90gal together??? If not I was thinking of re-homing my JD's and putting my female in the 55. Do you think this would work??? I want them to reach there full potential, and I know the 55 will not be all that great for one but I can't do anything about it until the first of the year. The male is about 5.5 and the female is about 3.5-4.

At that size they should be fine in a 90gal. if you will be upgrading to a larger tank at the first of the year. Make sure the female has a place to hide if the living arrangements get rough.

I have kept my female in a 55 by herself for about eight years now, if you decide to split them up then she should be fine in the 55.

Sweet do you think they can reach a nice size in that 90gal??? I plan on upgrading to a 125 at the first of the year.

It depends. They're almost to breeding size, and if they start trying to breed then their growth rate will slow down significantly because they'll be focusing their energy on spawning and raising fry.

So do you think I should go a head and separate them until they hit a nice Size???

How big is your female know???

Around 10" - 11". She is a pet store red devil so she is most likely a midas/devil cross.
