Two Dominant Male cichlids

Checking out and sizing the competition is my biggest male grammodes at 8" +.

And on the other side, my 8" + male istlanum (Red)

My other male istlanum (Green/Blue). Very close to 10"

Very nice I know grammodes are really tough. but after getting my Istlanums I dunno i think its a toss up between who would win. I own both grammode and Istlanum as well and both species are mean as hell.

My vote goes to istlanum as well. For those members who don't have tank space for the "BIG Bruisers", get some mini dovii (grammodes) and mini umbee (istlanum) instead.

WOW Thse fish are unreal!! That Grammy is amazing buddy, a true beast!!!

I have both these species at the mo, but my biggest grammy is only 6" and biggest Istlanum only 2.5". If i can get them to the size of your fish, i'll be exstatic!

How old are these? My Grammy has taken 3 years to grow from 2" -6".
