My wife and I are into fishkeeping. Truthfully, she should be the one on this forum, as she likes 'em big. Fish I mean. ;-)
She first got the Monster Fish addiction when we saw this 14-inch Pacu in the LFS that was up for adoption. She immediately fell in love with him. Here's a pic of her and the fish:
Sadly, he died soon after we adopted him. He broke the heater and started spasming. We can only assume he was electrocted. She cried for almost two days after.
We've since bought two juvenile Pacu and an unbreakable heater.
She's also crazy about Oscars. We have a small, one-inch juvenile.
I like all kinds of fish, including our Pacu and Oscars, but also our goldfish, and various sundry other fish. I'm also the guy that maintains all of our tanks. -- so about once a week, I spend an hour or two doing water changes and cleaning filters. <sigh>
