Two final hold backs

Three years old. Don't know why but that seems to be an average for me keeping these guys. They start out with eye cloud then turns to pop eye. Severe! I'm talking popping out of head and bleeding. I've Been keeping fish for 50 years. His mate was divided in the same tank. She did and is fine the whole time. I think it's genetics. I put him down. He was miserable.

They have so much personality you get attached and 3 years isn't long enough. I'm trying to give all mine a diverse diet and see if that gives them longer life's . Just all that breeding to get them looking so nice is hard on the genetics I suppose. He was very nice looking.
