Definitely posting this in the wrong section. You should try the Cichlid section of the forums. I don't know about the top picture, but the second is a Auratus Cichlid (Melanochromis auratus).

Looks like a jewel cichlid to me,
also seeing as how theyre both africans, and petsmart/petco sell them both, this makes the most sense to me. Welcome to MFK!

The second pic looks like a Julidocromis Dickeldi or one of the other juli species.
