Just kidding. But I do have two convicts that are really pissing me off. I recently read somone's reply to a post. Saying that convict's almost breed them selves, and could breed in a toilet bowl. I no this is true because I've had them breed many times unexpectedly. So this is whats pestering me. I bought a couple that I noticed were paired off at my lfs. They had already dug a nest and were defending it. I thought this would be an easy quick come up. I get home give them their own tank set up great. The two were enseperable. But no action. Then I moved them to a larger nicely planted, wooded and rocked Tank. Where They were the top of the food chain and their was no threat. Still they were all over eachother. But no action. They had a nest here too. I even got bit about five times when I tried to move them for the last time. I moved them because they were tormenting the others like the had a brewed. Althougt they did not. Now this third time alone in their new tank they are showing NO interest in each other!
ahhhhhhhhhh whats up with these two?? :grinno:

The male decided that he was ***? Don't know. I had a pair of angels do that after the second set of spawn, no idea why.

Put them in a tank where they do have something to worry about, like guarding the nest and just leave them there!!! Quit moving them, it won't speed the process. Some fish pop right off and sometimes they take they're sweet time for the first run. Something to guard will help keep them paired and strengthen the unity....sounds funny but it works. I've dumped cheap africans in with my escondidos when I had trouble with them and they paired way more happily and after that it was easy. Def. quit moving them though!! PATIENCE

i knew they were cons.

feeder fish`

just because they liked eachother in one tank, dosent mean that they will like eachother in another tank. relocation can be bad for a relationship!!!!!!!
