hi. i know this probably doesn't belong here, but i thought if there were any puffer enthusiasts willing to take on new fish in my area on here, then they might find this in this forum. i have two green spotted puffers [or at least that's what they were sold as, they appear to be GSPs but i'm not an expert] that are in desperate need of a new home. my brother purchased them from walmart without doing any research or knowing anything about them or anything and less than a week later he told me that if i didn't take them then he was going to flush them. so they're currently in my oscar tank [small oscars], and they don't belong there mainly because they need water that is more brackish than what i have in there, and when they get a little older they'll be even more agressive, but right now they're not too bad until i put a new fish in and they take a nip of their fin while the new ones are caught off guard. anyway, i really don't think i'll be able to keep them, as much as i would like to. i really love these little guys and i just want to find someone who will care for them properly and give them everything they need. i've tried posting on craigslist but the only replies i get are from people who don't know anything about the puffers... anyway, if someone who knows what they're doing wants to give them a home that would be fantastic, because i do want them to have a good home.
again, i'm sorry if this really doesn't belong here, but i thought it might give me a chance to find someone who can actually take care of them.
thanks,
jessica

hmm...well they're really small still. i just wanna make sure you know that because i did have someone in the area interested but when i reminded him that they were still babies he changed his mind because his bigger ones would pick on them. you'd meet all their needs? salinity of water, enough room so that they're not too aggressive with the other fish? if i can't find them a home around here i might be willing to ship them if you can tell me the very best method so that there is the very least chance that nothing bad would happen to them. again, i love them and don't want anything bad to happen to them.
