Two heaters are a must

Over thanksgiving break I had a 120 running off a single 500w heater. When I got back after four days the temp in the tank was at 62 degrees. This is for rays which should be at a temp of over 80. Everything lived it turned out to be a cheap lesson learned I didn't lose any fish and now i will never run another tank without two heaters.

It's just one motoro and I'm assuming the heater must have broke later in the week because he was fine when I got home. So probaly only a few days. I'm glad it happened though I learned my lesson and didn't lose any fish, luckily.

i know what you mean, i have two canisters just in case one breaks down.

(plus its good filtration!)
