Two Laps One Tank

Both are about 10 inches long, both came from the same place, I was told both were WC and yet the differences in the two are dramatic. Head shape, color/pattern, etc. Can I have some opinions of what might be going on?

Each lap have different head shapes, some will have longer snout, short snout, rounder head, flatter head etc.
color wise is due to the substrate, since you have dark substrate both will turn dark, and yes both are WC and looks to be nigerian laps.

Its one of the best thing about keeping polys,
Not all looks the same, to a person with trained eyes its easy to find the smallest details on what seperates each varients, but still its nice to own the varient yourself to see the difference, photo angel can change a polys look.

yah I remember when I got my gold dust and my teug. They were the same size and looked similar it took me a bit to be able to recognize each one but now I can easily spot the differences (besides the fact my teug in now giant)

Yeah, Jaws has a dark and light congi.

I hope they stay different for you just for variety.

Agree i think its pretty cool thst both laps look nothing alike.

Both are congi head shape and base color are very different. Patterns are both congi though
