I bought 4 german rams today and net them out myself. I thought i took 2 males and 2 females, the owner confirmed it too. I have heard of many techniques to sexing rams such as, dorsal fin length, anal fin length, and colors on various parts of the fish. I used the dorsal fin length but i guess i screwed up cause theres only one fish with a long front dorsal fin.

I'm not so sure, I agree with Mystix that the last photograph is a male, and I also think the second photo may possibly be male. Blue Rams are such a beautiful fish but are prone to ailments unless kept in very high quality water, I wish you the best of luck with them and look forward to a positive update in the coming months :)

The best sexing technique when the fish are young is going by the crimson bellies on the females. It's quite obvious that only 1 fish doesnt have it. That fish is the male.
