Hi, this is my Second go around with Reds, My last 4 I had for 7 Years and they were very aggressive they would kill anything as soon as it hit the water, and they would only eat live food.

My New batch of four I had gotten at the end of December and they were the size of nickel. They are now about 2 Inches Id say, They have Lived with 6 Tetras, 4 cichlids 3 Plecos 2 catfish 1 crab I danios and 2 red fish of some kind.

I leave the light on about 14 Hours a day ( I know its long but my work schd effects the time) My Fish from day one have eaten Pellets Freeze dried and reg frozen Brine Shrimp, krill, tubflex worms, Blood worms, flake food and reg shrimp. They eat anywhere in the tank top or bottom it doesn't matter, All eh fish in the tank eat in a frenzy with each other.

Mine swim allot and never seem to want to hide, They have started to pick off their tank mates, I have lost 2 Silver and Black striped fish unknown kind( Lost them the first day I added them) and I just lost last night the 2 Red Fish and 2 White tetras.

I feed them something different every meal I try to rotate but I don’t have a schd, there color and size looks great.

I want to add pics but everyone I take in blurry.
