Yeah, I read about them. Seems a bit controversial or rather unclear if they are really different, if they grow to different sizes, if they retain the difference in coloration with age, etc.
The 3 nile perch are caught to be moved next door to a newly established PerchLand formerly jumbo 4500 gal:
At 2ft size Nile perch have poor transferability. 2 for 3. Loss of the biggest Nile perch, which fought just 5 min extra in the net vs its two kin.
From YT on unexplained deaths of nile perch, barramundi, etc. on simple, uncomplicated tank to tank move:
