Well it has come down to the dreaded task of letting two big guys... go.... sad...but cannot take a chance with them hurting each other.. i will post some pics later...the tanks starting to get rough... with lip locking even while their hiding......... grew these guys up to 9 inches plus..that took years.....There must be thoughts of some serious breeding going on now.... the battles are beginning....

Keep us posted Liz - no doubt you will find a good home for em.

Keep them and just rotate them out from time to time. Will that work?? Thats what I planned on doing with the extra males I end up having after they are full grown.

i have a home for them already... not getting the money you would normally get because i opt for the good home instead... just hate to see them go... i will get pics if they are out and about... just last pics to remember them...

How many do you have in the tank? How big of a tank do you need to have a nice colony of frontosa's (around 10)?

Here are mine....i quess i will move this to media.. i did not expect to get so many pics...lol one has some fins nipped..otherwise not bad..considering i took pics with lights out...thats why pics are not so great... frontosa 031.JPG

@ least a 135, if you can afford a bigger tank..... even better.

FF
between 7-10... since they take along time to grow,... you have time to upgrade the tank if your in it for the long haul.....start with babies... and a few years later go to a larger tank... since they do eventually reach about 16 inches...
