Which is better. I can get a Marineland 350 power filter for $29 with my discount. It's has a flow rate of 350GPH and says can handle a 70 gallon tank.

There's also a Marineland 400 power filter that does 400GPH. I can get this for $52 after discount.

Their both brand new(at Petsmart, where I work). I could get two of the 350 filters for 60 bucks. That would be 700GPH with both of them for only 60 bucks. WHile If i got two of the 400 filters I would spend 102 bucks for 800 GPH. WHich is only a 100 gph more than buying two of the 350 type filters. Also though the 400 type I would assume is bigger than the 350 so could hold more mechanical and etc.

So which would be the better deal in everyones opinion. Two of the 350 type filters or two of the 400 type. It seems obvious just making sure though.:):):)

The Emporer's are considered better than the penguin series.
I am a Aquaclear man myself. I'd suggest an AC110

Thanks, but nah I dont want a AC110. Maybe later, I've heard bad from other fish keepers about them. Might be just them and just plain bad luck, but I'm gonna stay clear of them for awhile. So to everyone else I dont want an AC110, I was afraid people was going to do this. Thanks though for your truthful opinion.

Well if you are dead set on Marineland then I would use the Emp 400 and just start with one and see how it does for you. The 350's some times have issues with the biowheels not spinning.

Remember that its is not always how much GPH you filter but the quality of the exchange you are filtering.

the 400 is a good filter I would start with that. If its not sufficient maybe add a 350

I would have to vote for the AC filters myself, but since you want the other ones I would go with the 400 if they fit on your tank.
