I have the 210 magaflow and need to get a new return pump. Should I get one big one with a tee or have two smaller pumps for each returns will have its own pump. What's best or does it not matter that much . Thanks

I ended getting one large pump it was cheaper to buy a good quality latgl pump then two smaller ones .

What if I have 2 returns lines with loc links?
Is it better to have 2 x 700gph pumps per each return than having 1x 1400gph pump connected to a "Y" for those 2 returns?

With my large pumps I often ran 3 to 5 tanks to a sump (per pump) and split the line into 3 or 5 separate out flows using Tees or Ys. As long as each tank gets the required turnover.

Above, each line (bank) of tanks, is on 1 large pump.

I prefer 2 pumps for redundancy as stated above. Equipment can and will fail and the worst times. I’ve had horrible/costly losses and will now always run 2 pumps, have battery backup, and use separate controllers for heaters. Ill skimp on non-essentials like lighting or decorations and such

Other than one option have redundancy with two pumps, I think it becomes your preference for space and running your return plumbing.

Depending on the head they're working against you might end up with a lot more flow with a single 1400gph. Unless you're quoting the flow at your head. Worth checking the flow chart.
