Two ounces shy of all tackle world record...

Caught some BIG whiting the past couple of days, the fish on your far right was two ounces shy of the world record. I had a bigger one on but broke the line while trying to hand line her up. I brought 12 live shrimp with me and caught 16 whiting in less than 45 minutes. I gave five away and my 11 fish weigh 19lbs!!!

Here are some sheepshead and whiting from yesterday, I had at least three of my biggest whiting stolen out of my cooler!!

Didn't a guy do that with a few bass in a huge tournament a few years back? I think it was like the US open bass tournament or something.

That is the Navarre Beach Pier located between Destin and Pensacola.

Nope they are whiting also known as southern kingfish

Yes there was a guy who did that. He stuck bullet sinkers inside the fishes throat down into its belly. At the weigh station, they all wonder why the fish is so damn heavy for the size and the stomach is not even as big. And comparing it to all other trophy size with humongous belly compare to this one. The one belly is not as large but the weight is tremendous, so they cut up the belly of the fish and found bullet sinkers inside of the fish. The guy got disqualify and got fined for it. He deserves it for being an idiot...

I thought he was banned for life from all of the tournaments.
