Two pumps?

Would connecting a stronger pump to a weaker pump make a faster flow rate?

No. Best is to run the correct size pump or run both pumps separate. Never run them in series.

If you put the weaker one after the stronger one, there would be excessive head pressure on the stronger one. Which will result in loss flow.
If you do it in the other order the stronger pump would suffer with restricted suction. Which will result in loss flow.
Pumps are not designed to run in series. It's like towing a car around.
