My new fish arrived yesterday! Two of them are Senegals which are my first ever Polys.
Both are already eating (sliced earthworms). They're about two inches long.
Unfortunately one of them is missing a pectoral fin and overnight it's turned into a balloon. Some sort of infection? What do I need to do to treat it?
Sorry about the photos, they barely ever keep still and when they do it's out of sight.

Do mean the shape of the pectoral is the shape of a balloon or the body of the fish? If it is the pectoral fin the only suggestion I have is keeping the water conditions pristine maybe a little aquarium salt if you notice any fungus on the pectoral.

The body is rather bloated on the second pic

Sorry, no I mean the poly itself is bloated. The first picture is the healthy poly, the second picture shows the bloated one and the third picture shows them together.

Try a little epsom salt 1tbs per 5 gallon (once only). Try changing the feeding to every other day. This happens often with cb polys.
