I figured it's been a while since I posted any pictures of my snakes, so I took a few more of my baby blood pythons for your enjoyment and for you to drool over, if you're a big blood python fan.

Jim, the reverse-striped red:

And here's my cat, Cricket, circa three months ago:

thanks :), except my cat's nice. She does get on my nerves though when she wakes me up at 5.30 on the weekends, expecting me to feed her...just because I have to wake up early during the week. Should have let my wife take care of the cat.

Lol, my cat does the same thing except she thinks 3 am is play time!

Wow... my cat thinks 3 AM is play time... and that she should have a shower at 5:30 AM followed by her "breakfast" as well... Yes, she likes shower. I usually just get up, she would run into the shower, I would turn on the warm water, close the door and when she is done in about 15 minutes she meow to go out. I have no idea how the whole thing got started anyway.

Of course that went away when I just ignored her when she wake me up, then give her a shower and breakfast when I wake up. Of course, I had to go through a period of a cat laying down on my face for a few months in attempt to "wake" me.

Nice pythons though.

Whered you get your yellow? Thats a beaut.

Loco, I got both of those from High Plains Herpetoculture. Glad you like her...I saw her picture and knew I had to have her:)

Davo, they're amazing feeders. The only experience I have with balls is one rescue that my mom now takes care of and my little brother's, but I'm aware that they have a reputation for refusing food for no apparent reason. Heck, my rescue has done that for two or three months at a time before. But these bloods, they've taken f/t and pre-killed rats right from the start with no problems, except that Jim didn't want to eat while he was in shed (understandable). I never had to jiggle the rats or anything, just leave them in the cage and let the snake take care of it. And my big blood and my two Borneos are the same way. The only thing I've found really is that you have to make sure they feel secure, that they have some kind of cover available to them, at least when they're young. I think my big ones don't really care.

Does that answer your question?

yeah cheers, was just wondering what with more people keeping royals. Nice pics btw too!

Ah, I love High Plains. I can't wait to see their Kimberly rock monitor and ackie projects going! They have some cool amphibs too.

Good luck with that jewel of a snake!
