Hey all I just got my 75 gallon tank :). I wanted new filters for it but thats expensive. I'm wondering if I could just use my two TopFin 60 Filters in it. I included a pic of what I think is exactly the same as what I have. I tried looking this up but I had no luck so it's up to you guys now! Thanks again!!

I think it would work if your replace that junk media it comes with with some ceramic. What I did was open the filter bag and dump the carbon out, and put in seachem matrix. when I need to clean it out I do it in tank water.

Funny story about my topfin 60. It came with a all in one 55 gallon tank kit. It didn't have the media bags or the top with it. I had already filled the tank by the time I found out. I took it to petsmart and they wouldn't just exchange the filter with on off the shelf, they wanted me to return the whole kit. When I said thats to much work they gave me replacement media bags and sent me on my way; I ran my topfin without a top for about 4 months, before converting to a sump,.

What is going to be the stock of the 75gal?

lol thats my picture and foot :)

Yes thats a top fin 60 .

I left a full product review on aquariacentral.com in their product reviews section.

To sum it all up. Decent mechanical filter (Its still on one of my 55's) decent flow. good mechanical and chemical filtration bio is not up to the standard of others however...
