Two unexpected deaths

Ive had a saulosi and auratus die on me in the past two days... No idea why. The auratus died first and then the next day the saulosi day. My water paremters are perfect and have not changed. The auratus was the bully of the tank and both fish were swimming and there wwere no known problems. All of my saulosi in my tank stick together and there never is or was that much bullying... Any reason why? Not trying to lose more saulosi....

Maybe the two fought so bad that it lead to their death.

i would guess mabye they were related...I was thinking mabye one of the male saulosi killed the female but idk. Im guessing it had to be stress (mabye?) becuase the auratus was by far the bully of the tank

sorry, maybe courting was to rough on the female? dont know about those particular fish but some types of fish can rough up a female if shes the only one

haha true but i meant unexpected by my water being perfect and without ever seeing fighting in the tank

iv had fish in my tanks die at random iv never understood it. my only guess would be to check ur other fish closely for any kind of diseases. It maybe something u overlooked?

was there any indication of body injury... could have hit into something.. could have been stress.. just because its the bully does not mean it is not having major stress issues.
