Hey i was thinking about when people have small cichla or any fish that dont want to take food do to parasites, stress,or just being picky and starving to death if you could use the the small baster from the tylenol bottle to give them food or medication for internal parasites.Could this work?

um im pretty sure thats a solid no imo do research on pills, parasites, and other freshwater issues first before questions

best way is to Isolate sick fish and at this time feed live to fatten up make them strong then convert to non live ..To much stress ivolved tring to force feed ....

bump. definitely isolate and feed live like rosies or ghost shrimp are the best if you have them at your lfs. After he starts eating you can treat with a number of safe antiobiotics for parasites if its that. cichla are stubborn so just keep feeding live and document growth. goodluck

I know someone that has done just that with antiparasite food on wild caught malawi cichlids that were dying and wouldnt feed. I believe it worked.
