Type of betta

Hi yall got this betta tdy, does anyone know what type it is? They only labled it as a male. Also it looks like he has some fin damage, will it naturally heal or do i need to buy some meds for him

Tail doesn't look bad, little curled on the end maybe but no obvious signs of a fresh tear/bite marks or active fin rot. Looks like it's already healing or healed as much as it's going to. Make sure you have a heater in his tank set to a MINIMUM of 78° (I prefer about 80-82 for my bettas) and super clean water - both are requirements for the health and happiness of ANY betta, by the way - and he'll be fine.
