I just started keeping flowerhorn this year and while I’m no expert I’ve looked at a lot of them. It’s very hard to tell when they’re this size but my vote goes to a zz red dragon. They’re the most common and it seems to have several of the traits of one. Maybe someone with more experience will chime in. At any rate show us a picture after it grows another inch or two and it should be pretty easy to tell then

Looks like an SRD. Although its too soon to tell definitely, i like the markings though they look straight just pump it up with good food and water and it may develop to a good looking fish. Genetics play a factor into how the fish will end up so don't expect too much if you paid only a small amount for the fish.

The beauty of flowerhorn is you never know how they’re going to turn out until you grow them out a bit. So don’t sweat it if you didn’t pay much or didn’t buy from a reputable source. I got my guy from petsmart and paid $26. This is his transformation over the course of five months

I believe there is a thread in this forum regarding Petsmarts Kamfa Flowerhorns. The pictured FH looks to be swimming in a display tank very similar to those used by Petsmart.
The colors on the juvenile FH are very washed out. I'd let him acclimate for a few days at the store to see if he colors up a bit. I like the pic of the young adult FH. Obviously doing a great job raising that one.
