type of tiles

I have seen people use tiles in their tanks instead or gravel or sand. I was wondering if there is a certain kind you have to use to be safe (glass, ceramic, etc.)?

I've seen people use ceramic and natural tile. Me, I use natural slate tile in my tank

The two types of tile used for flooring are: Porcelain or ceramic. I don't think that either would be toxic to fish.
