Hello everyone, forgive me if this has been asked before but could someone please post pics of the different types of green terrors so that I can do a comparison. I have read about the reverse pattern and all, but I'm more if a visual learner. I have tried looking them up on google, but you never know exactly what you're seeing:cry:. Also, I was considering ordering from The Wetspot (one of the Esmeralda green terrors), what kind is this and has anyone dealt with them before? Thanks for the help.

Not that I care, but the lower left picture was taken by me (not Conway Stevens). This was a juvenile Gold Saum that I kept in my old 55G planted, and have proof of the pictures from when I took them last Spring. Please be careful with your resources, and do not give credit to those undeserving of specific content. Below is the original picture I took and posted last April on www.Cichlids.com.

You. Talking to me, this picture has been floating around FB for a while. The guy who posted it told me he did it and I could use it. If you feel you need credit then it is yours then, great compare btw

No worries, I just thought I'd clarify.

What about the electric blue acara. Are we including this as "green terror"

Thanks Mopani, this is exactly what I needed. So, if I'm understanding correctly the "true" green terror is actually green and not as colorful? Still a beautiful fish, just doesn't have as many different colors. Sort of like the Mayan and Festae, both gorgeous, just one has more vibrancy. Please correct me if I'm wrong. BTW I now see what everyone means by the reverse color pattern. Hey, here's an idea, why not call the Saum the "rainbow terror", "light terror" or even "blue terror"? Just a thought.:D

You're right, no disrespect Manu (thank you also for taking the pictures). I was just thanking Mopani because that's who put the pictures side by side for me. BTW, could a gold saum (what
I'm calling the rainbow terror;), go good with a carpintis, sveni, jd & salvini in a 55? I know that I need something bigger, already have a 240 for them. They are all barely 1", except for the pike which is 3". I just can't see having these guys in such a large tank right now.
