The Land where Fish Rule!
I was checking out aquabid and found something called a: JURUNESE ALANZA SHOVELNOSE CATFISH. It looks like:

Can someone tell me the difference between this and a regular jurunese? Also, are there any other varations of this fish? I have heard of something called a flash zebra jurunese. Any input would be appreciated.

I doubt anything, how much was it? I suggest just buying one from snookn21 for $20.

ALIANZA is a town on the Rio Ucayali in Peru.
B. juruense is variable in pattern, depending on which river it is from (sometimes it has no stripes at all) so maybe this is one from Rio Ucayali ?

(one of B. juruenses's local names is Zungaro alianza).

Thanks guys for the replies. I was looking at snookn21's, but the shipping kind of expensive from florida to me. This guys a little bit closer. Which variation do you guys like better, this guy or a regular patterned? I am not sure myself so i will have to think about some more.
p.s.- its on sale on aquabid for $25

trust me, you cant go wrong buying your jur from snook, he has gorgeous fish, there wc, and his shipping is actually some of the lowest out there, 35 buck is a good price for overnight fedex

i bought 2 from him, maybe a month and a half ago at 3 to 4 inches, now my bigger one is 7 inches not counting his 10 inch streamer, awesome growth rate

heres a quik pic of my bigger jur, he has a very unique pattern, not just stripes, you can actually see the H on his side in this pic

"Flash Zebra" juruense have a more colorful gold/yellow background with more pronounced black stripes, a unique variety said to exist only in the Rio Nanay in Peru...
