types of sand???

is there any real problem buying cheap sand??
i know everyone really like the 3m stuff, for like $20+ a bag
i was wondering if using play sand or any outdoor natural sand as a substrate?

go with "pool filter sand" it's clean and doesn't give you problem with tank and filter. 50lbs about $5-$6. cheap and good.

what color is it? does it look good in the tank? easy to clean the fish waste with it?

never mind i called a place, its tan, and i can get it for $7 a bag...

does it clean easy?
