Thought I'd inquire if I'm the only person who has trouble following some of the threads due to horrible spelling, typing and grammatical errors. I am a far from perfect typist - but when posting something for others to read, I try to take a moment and proof my message.
I understand that not everyone is a native English speaker/typist and I applaud those making the effort to translate. However, the majority of the perpetrators seem to be Americans!!
Specifically younger (showing age bias here) people who don't seem to care about the image their language reflects. Gross humor is one thing - slaughtering a sentence is another. Internet lingo and emoticons are hard enough when interspersed with scientific and chemical names - add in "theyds" and other errors and messages simply get lost.
Thank you for allowing me a moment to vent my frustration prior to returning to the forums.
