Tyre track and fire eel feeding info

who has tried the below to feed tyre tracks and fire eels

-Beef heart
-fish fillet from a salt water fish
-squid

feeding pellets, doable? massivore pellets?

My tire track eats cichlid gold, he trys to eat massivore but his mouth is a little small for it right now.

how long did it take you to train them?

I got him at around end of july, hes round 9". I did nothing special I was just feeding my oscar, my TT followed my oscar to the pellets and started eating.That was I think the third day i had him.

^ damn you are lucky then, although i haven't had my Fire Eel for long, less than a month, i'm having a hard time getting him to eat anything other than live food... i guess he just enjoys the hunt too much, or maybe i'm just not cutting the food up small enough for him to eat???

ive fed mine turkey like from vons before just cut those little thin pieces in like a worm shape an he ate them but i did that once haha he sticks to his earthworms

my fire eel only eats blood worms or brine shrimp and if he can he will eat earth worms, my o's usually get them first
