TYRETRAC EEL wiTH LIMA?

anyone have any success keeping freshwater eels with lima shovelnose catfish or is this big NO?

The safest rule for maintaining any of the shovelnose cats is; "If it looks like it'll fit in it's mouth, IT WILL."

If you can get a big enough tiretrack you will be ok..Big eel is the key.

wel i got the eel today and its a peacock eel from what i can tell because it has 4 spots on the tail and its the same size as the Lima and he has a nice chill spot already and is eating earthworms IMMEDIATLY after being introduced into the tank and hes always on his P'z n Q'z s0 i dont think it will be a problem but ill keep a close eye

if it's a peacock it may not be big enough when the lima grows older,i know fire and tyretracks are ok with limas

I once had a fire eel kill a tsn by biting his gill cover off, maybe just my expirience but he was hella aggressive. Good luck with your combo.
