A Synodontis eupterus variety "INCREDIBLE THIN"

Yeh seriously! Thats a skinny Syno. Mine has always been fat and eats way more than its share... even with target feeding it takes too much.

Yeah, my LFS rescued it frm there customer and sold it to me for 4$. He is badly injured and now almost 90% recovered. Still didn't eat. I'm going to try some different foods.

Mama mia! Poor lil' guy. Heater burn? Surprised they asked for any $.

It resembles a euptera but I am not sure. The dorsal and the adipose don't look euptera-like, please see these pics and decide: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=121

It could be this hybrid but they usually don't have such a nice, euptera-like spotting on the body and fins: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=4123

A territorial fish attack, don't know the exact species who did it...
I think it's euptera/eupterus, his dorsal fin is eaten half and it's healing still..
