I am no expert in IDing what type of L27, but that's a nice little fish. I do have 1 OT question tho... isn't your nail cut a little too short? :D

Hahah maybe too short but I like to keep it clean and short. I work at hospital, easier to clean that way.

Plecos sold as l27 thunder. I got a good deAl I think, 30 each. I'm thinking tapajos too.. Matt what do u think

Im guessing "thunders" don't show the lines until sub adult to adult. I will keep updating this thread to show progress as they get bigger. They are only about 2.5 to 3" now. I hope they will do great! Anyone have any pics of their small Thunders or Tapajos?

Check out arofanstics panaque showcase threads lots to see there.

They come looking very different some with crazy lines and others just straight lines. Yours are tapajos/thunders

Thunder is just a bad common name IMO
There's goldline thunder and then just thunders. Patterns vary big time with both fish.
They come from tapajos and from what's been popping up there's at least a few varieties from those waters
