ok....i bet u never heard this one before. i ilive in a suburban estate. with no water source of any kind nearby. juz today i was walking my dog when right there, sitting in the middle of the pathway, was a foot long snapping turtle. i just had to capture it. it was still pretty snappy. it had juz rained, and we have no idea where the heck it came from. will try to post pics. it presently live in a nice big pail, inside my shower box. .......with an after thought, how the heck am i gonna take a bath?!
