Uara-Blood parrot hybrid?

Hi, i am new to this site and was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible for a Uaru cichlid and a blood parrot to have fry. They paired up a while back and have tried laying eggs a few times. One time they turned tan but they ate them. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Depending on if you BP is male or female. Males are not fertile. I don't know why they are eating them if they are tan though.

I'm almost 100% sure it's not possible for you to get viable offspring from the pair.
