Uaru and Plants

...so..I know Uaru diet (expecially when adults) is based on veggie,so plants are grazed.

my question is... if I provide vegetal tabs,pellets,lettuce,spinach etc do they graze plants too??

I had the same question as you, I thought they would be okay as long as I kept them well fed! I was wrong! Big time! They ruined my 55 gallon amazon tank by eating EVERYTHING including all my floating plants, lillys and Amazon Swords! As I write my tank is green from the algae that took the oportunity to take over! I cant even be mad at them though as they are such cool fish! Very gentle and funny to watch. They love defrosted frozen peas.
